My name is Rich Sigfrit, and I was a Nominee in 5 categories, and a finalist in 4:

I rode all the way from North Carolina to Atlanta, Georgia, hoping to take an award home with me. I was also asked by someone, who shall remain nameless to protect ~~her~~ his identity, to interview the nominees (losers and winners). I found not only a group of people that were humble, but wanted everyone to win.

I needed to only push a little, to find what everyone really thought. Turns out with only a little enouragment, most everyone was really only after one thing, the trophies. And, surprisingly, many of the winners showed me what really went on behind the scenes of the awards.

As a journalist, I felt compelled to bring this information to you. I feel no shame nor fear in bringing these to you. These are the interviews that the official Parsec Awards don’t want you to hear. That is why I bring to you RotO, Behind the Parsec.
