My first foray into multimedia came via amateur movies. I had recently joined a church largely due to the Indiana Jones spoof that was shown to illustrate various points that I would hear in the sermon. I knew then I had to meet the creators and join the team. Though the team is now split, and my former mentor Greg Scott has moved on, you can still see his influence affecting others in this field. I learned nearly everything about directing and editing from him. Everything from fully scripted movies to Guerilla filmmaking, I am now making movies on my own. The first film that I made, from cradle to grave (Office Safety) is available at the 24Hour Cinema website. You can also view information on upcoming films there as well.

Another major influence in my filmmaking life is Earl Newton. His film, Fall of a Saga, was, and still is, one of the best amateur films I’ve seen. I always anticipate all of his projects, even his smaller ones, that serve to infuse confidence in not only his abilities, but also to inspire me. You can view his projects at his website.
