Audio
I have been a huge fan of old time audio dramas ever since I was a little tyke that would get grounded a lot. Let me explain. I was always getting into trouble, and so, in anticipation of my TV being taken out of my room, I would record the audio from movies on my tape player, and when the inevitable happened, I would relive my favorite movies and cartoons in my mind as I played while my TV collected dust in the storage room. I always wanted to make my own, but felt it was far too difficult to do. It wasn’t until I heard clips of Second Strike, a fan-made Star Wars audio drama. I heard that not only was it professional sounding, but well written, I knew I had to try my hand. So far, I have been proud and honored to play parts in various audio dramas (Anthology: Addiction, Always in Motion [coming soon], Superhero [might be coming soon], trailer for the Kevin J Anderson novel Seven Suns the lead in Sith Journal) plus mixing in the upcoming Despair Duology and X-Wing: Gold Squadron.
My first attempt at mixing was a labor of love for a favorite author of mine, Davey Beauchamp. I took the prologue to am upcoming novel, and translated it to audio. Amazing Pulp Adventures Staring Mister Adventure.
But most important of all is my work in Internet Radio. For over a year and a half, I have been Host/Producer of the underground hit Requiem of the Outcast Internet Radio. The show features reviews of FanFilms, FanAudio, and many other independent media products. We’ve been invited to many cons to not only do live shows and emcee, but also to interview their guests. I am also a many-time contributor to ChronoRadio, as well as have a regular segment on Star Wars and Beyond.
