Thanks very much Dr Awsome its great to hear that people like the films we are making. We have talked a few times about making our own forum for the show but right now we don't have one. However we belong to a puppetry forum that is really good and we post all our previews of sets some video clips like the opening of our Doctor Who episodes and screen shots of matt paintings and of course links when we post new shows. My handle on the puppet website is drpuppet and the link is www.puppetsandstuff.com

About the pigs in space ship we actual made a model of the one in our show but don't think we did not consider using the toy!

Hi,

I found your shorts through iTunes and just had to drop you a note expressing how much I enjoyed the episodes that I have had the chance to see.

I really loved the new one, Fly me to the moon. From the style of the sets to the pigs from space cameo it was wall to wall funny.

Some of my favorite bits include the kidnapping scene where the bear and rabbit don't even seem to really care what is going on and the launching of Brenda out the airlock.

My absolute favorite moment however is when Bud is explaining why they are on a rocket to the moon and the little jump Brenda does upon realizing it is her own fault for encouraging the situation.....

On top of that the captain's log and and the scotty pig scene were classic and the sheer wtf moment of the wallice and grommet sign were great.

As great as all of that was I nearly choked on the DOM DOM DOM moment at the end...... So random and just flat out odd with just a twist of Flash Gordon.

Of course my Girlfriend thought the Pigs in space was the best part. She said it looks like you used the toy from the Link Hogthrob action figure to fly it by.

So anyway please keep up the good work!!! hey is there a Forum or anyplace else where fans of your stuff can hang out and maybe see the odd preview or some stills of upcoming projects?

Well actually we use 3D studio max never used light wave. The cartoon style was on purpose. We like to experiment with different looks time and again. The pigs in space rocket thrust was intentional we felt it was a bit distracting since its on camera only for a second or two and it would really not be seen. Most people like the Wallace and Gromit nod but admittedly its not for everyone. Most of our things use advanced lighting and mental ray. In fact all of the space shots were using mental ray including rocket interiors. Now the style and cartoon look of the ship even the colors was a nod to Wallace and Gromit so we just thought it would be funny and fun to do, thanks for watching.

So by your link do I take it you are a graduate of SCAD??

Ok, "Fly me to the Moon" eh? We start this one by ripping off one of the best Senatra tunes and end it with a cheesy Wallace and Gromet nod?

Sprinkle in a healthy dose of original cast "humor" and a cameo from the Pigs in Space (Wrong jet exhaust -10 points) and we have an entertaining and visually pleasing episode.

Really my only beef is as a 3d guy have you even heard of advanced lighting? maybe you need to ditch lightwave and try 3d studio max and mental ray.

If that is to complex try this site, http://tinyurl.com/4s4q9t I'm sure they can teach you how to use textures on your rocket instead of relying on base object colors.......
