1. Edward Nigma 03.26.08 / 2pm

   Oh wow, copying a sketch from a venerable yet tragically unfunny comedy troupe eh? Ok let’s see where should I begin. How about the ridiculous attempt at a plot. turning people into creamer? please.

   And about the spy “Ace Action” How about ace inaction? of course coming from the sean connery school of spies he adds little to the story, he seems to exist only to get the gay beaver in trouble. I suggest more Austin Powers and less Sean Connery. If that is too much at least conceder a compromise on go with a popular Bond like Moore or Lazenby.

   As usual I guess the puppets look good but the mish-mash of of blatantly fanboyish characterization lead to a villain one half Palin, one half Strangelove and one half General Chang. I know how about coming up with a character that is *GASP* all your own?

   If you want my opinion (and I’m sure you do) try focusing the episodes a bit more, less exuberant homage’s and please pick something funny to copy…. Instead of Monty WHYthon try something like Upright Citizens Brigade.

   In conclusion good effort but if you want to see puppetry done right try and catch some Crank Yankers reruns or something.

   My Dearest Mr. Nigma,
   Our many thanks to your continued fateful support of our silly programs. We sit merely awestruck at you finely tuned powers of observation. When I think of all the sketches we have done that have not yet benefited from your keen eye and sharp wit i am saddened.

   I do agree that it is tragic that The great Monty Python is sadly no more and the group is now “un funny” because of their breakup, however many members have gone on to very respectable careers.

   I am so glad you found our “ridiculous plot” so entertaining. I can only imagine seeing you watching over and over to get inspiration for your words of wisdom.

   “Ace in Action” my word I must say what a great title for a wonderful short for us to shoot with Mr. Action. I think I will get the writers on that one right away as your genius is nothing to gawk at. I too agree that Mr. Lazenby’s performance was unsung, and no doubt critically acclaimed in some circles for his portrayal of the famous James Bond, however we have decided to use the original Bond for our pattern although I encourage you to film a segment with your Lazenby inspired Bond we would certainly love to see it.

   I must say it never occurred to us that Dr. Strangehorn looked like General Chang from Star Trek we all got a good hardy laugh out of that one. Thanks for pointing it out, and for noticing that some of of characters are our own for the most part and a few are inspired by things we liked as children. You are so cleaver to have such incite into our films.

   Although Upright Citizens Brigade was a strangely funny show we felt something more classic would be more entertaining to poke fun at. Perhaps we can consider them in a future episode. We will just have to file this letter away with all your other fantastic advice in our special E. Nigma folder we keep close to our heart.

   Now as for Crank Yankers the puppets in that program were fantastic and wonderfully constructed but since we do not dial peoples houses, irritate them and then film it we don’t have the opportunity to copy what they do. I do like the suggestion though and coming from someone who so loved Joel Schumacher famous portrayal of Batman so much he named himself after the Riddler I can not help but be touched. So touched that you find us worthy enough of your attention you watch our films and try your best to give us advice and words of encouragement.

   Thank god for you Edward Nigma…thank god for you!
